  1. Pick Your Color Palette

Choose 2–3 complementary colors for your outfits. Color is great, just keep it soft. Think earthy tones like mustard, blush, forest green, and soft blues, then mix in neutrals like cream, beige, or gray to keep everything balanced. Try to avoid intense patterns & bold logos and stripes (unless that’s what you want to go for) This is because they do not photograph as well.

  1. Mom, Choose Your Outfit First

Start in your own closet, then shop if needed. Look for pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable. Long, flowy dresses or skirts photograph beautifully and add soft movement to your images.

  1. Dress the Kids

Start with their closet, then shop if needed. Choose outfits that are comfortable and easy to move in. Kids have their own style and preferences, so let them have a say while keeping everything coordinated. Avoid logos and bold patterns.

  1. Keep Dad’s Look Simple and Classic

Keep it clean and stylish while letting mom take the spotlight. Stick to earthy tones like rich browns, warm tans, and soft grays. Pair a light top with dark pants, or dark pants with a light top, for a timeless look with a bit of contrast.
