Getting photos taken can be a bit stressful, Below I've included my favourite tips & tricks to help make the process a bit easier!

  1. Pick Your Color Palette

Choose 2–3 complementary colors for your outfits. Color is great, just keep it soft. Think earthy tones like mustard, blush, forest green, and soft blues, then mix in neutrals like cream, beige, or gray to keep everything balanced. Try to avoid intense patterns & bold logos and stripes (unless that’s what you want to go for) This is because they do not photograph as well.

We suggest that all who are participating in the session wear similar clothing with the same colours and schemes, like white tops and jeans or all black etc.

  1. Choose an outfit and a look you know you'll be comfortable in

Buying a new outfit is a great choice when getting photos done, however you'll want to make sure that it isn't an outfit that is outside of your style. This is because you won't feel like yourself and you may feel a tad awkward. I always suggest picking an outfit you know you love and will feel your best in

Its always a great idea to do your nails! You would be surprised at how often you'll notice them in photos.

  1. This may not be everyone’s favorite tip.

Don’t feel pressured to wear heavier makeup than you normally would. If you usually wear makeup, go ahead and wear it the way you like. But if makeup isn’t part of your everyday look, I’d recommend keeping it natural for your photos instead of going all out. You want to still feel like yourself when you see your images afterward. Its important to note that I will not be able to Photoshop makeup on or off your face for you.

The best choice is what feels comfortable and still looks like you.

  1. Avoid new beauty routines the night prior

This may lead to an allergic reaction which can cause a chemical burn or allergic reaction.

  1. Have a photo idea in mind?

If you have a specific vision in mind please let me know so we can bring it to life! Its always a good idea to browse Pinterest and save some photos that you like so we can make it happen.

I also suggest packing a hair brush as you may want to touch up loose hairs
